Moderated by Dina Lorentz, Business Development Manager Regulatory at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, dealing with topics regarding regulated industries and related regulatory changes in the world and its effects on clients` businesses. In addition, she is specialized in Impact Investing topics having worked for a Swiss Impact Investment fund last years in Lima, Peru.
Underlying her dedicated work within Impact Investing she is a member and advisor to SA Oikocredit North Germany (from April 2017 being voluntary Board Member Treasury), a support association of Oikocredit International, a worldwide cooperative and social investor, providing funding to the microfinance sector, fair trade organizations, cooperatives and small to medium enterprises.
She is also founder and president of AWIBO – Action WIthout Borders for Peru`s Children, a NGO headquartered in Lima
Stephanie Petrick is the Head of Impact Investing at Phineo gAG and has more than ten years of experience in advising private equity investors, international corporations and social enterprises in Europe and the US. Prior to joining Phineo, Stephanie Petrick worked for the German impact investing pioneer Impact in Motion, as a probono consultant for Ashoka Germany and was Principal at L.E.K. Consulting, an international consulting firm. She graduated from European School of Business in Reutlingen (D) and Reims Management School (F). Additionally, Stephanie Petrick holds a degree in Management of Foundations from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel (D).
Leon Reiner is founder and managing director of Impact Hub Berlin with his core responsibilities around business development and partnerships. He previously worked for a consultancy in the social entrepreneurship sector and managed an incubator for social startups. On the side, Leon build his teaching competencies developing SE courses for different universities and founded the Social Entrepreneurship Education Network to connect educators in the field. Leon holds a masters degree with distinction in international development & economics from the University of Vienna.
Karl Richter is Co-Founder and Executive Director of EngagedX, which specialises in providing bespoke consultancy, thought leadership, advocacy and policy work. He works internationally across private, public and social sectors. He is an experienced entrepreneur and has held numerous leadership, management and executive positions.
He is a member of Groupe d’Experts de la Commission sur l’Entrepreneuriat Social (GECES), which is appointed by the European Commission to advise on its Social Business Initiative; sits on the OECD expert group on social impact investing that reported to the Group of 7 advanced economies (G7); Senior Fellow of theFinance Innovation Lab, which was set to explore, innovate and evolve the financial system to sustain people and planet; Adviser to the Global value exchange, which is an open source database and platform for measuring social and environmental values; Advisor on social impact investing to the Euclid Network (of European civil society professionals), where he coordinated the task force on social investment that reported to the European Commission.
