Politicians think in laws, developers think in code, entrepreneurs think in profit, NGO workers think in resolutions, scientists think in studies… While everyone likes to stay in their bubble, Startupboat believes that this has to change. They bring people together to think about solutions away from their usual playing field, outside the box and with no strings attached. Their sessions are explorative are adjusted to the focus topic of each journey. The outcomes of each session are documented in detail and can vary in their nature.
We’re happy to host a Startupboat workshop at Factory in the frameworks of Tel Aviv Week. Moderated by Mirko Bass, Chief Evangelist and Business Development Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Russia at Cisco Germany, you will get an insight to the efforts of innovation driven partners of Startupboat who strive to promote change through collaboration and collective effort.
What to expect?
– We’ll meet some of the finest entrepreneurs and tech innovators from Tel Aviv who want to learn about effective approaches in Berlin that see value in migration.
– Our friends of the United Nations Refugee Agency in Berlin will give an introduction to the status quo of refugees in Tel Aviv and in Berlin before we head into design thinking games to break the ice between participants.
– Next, we’ll showcase different initiatives that enable us to see migration an as opportunity rather than a problem in Berlin, and brainstorm about their potential to scale and generate positive impact in Tel Aviv and the rest of Israel.
Jasmin, the Original Taste of Syria will cater delicious Syrian food during a short break.
