Fundraising in a Recession – How to successfully fundraise in times of uncertainty.

Over the last 2+ years, as a startup founder, you’ve been told to: “Lengthen your runway... Accept lower valuations... Avoid fundraising during a recession or economic downturn”.

However, despite all market doom and gloom, there is still money on the table and there are founders who have successfully reached out and taken it.

The panel asks the questions:

  • How is the funding landscape changing now? What are the challenges of fundraising in a recession?
  • What advice should founders be taking and what should they be leaving?
  • Is there any essential advice that isn't out there already?

This event is hosted in collaboration with our partner, Founderland.

To keep the event intimate, and to open up honest, valuable discussion, this event will not be live-streamed or recorded.

Join us in person at Factory Berlin Görlitzer Park to discover how to secure investment and accelerate your startup in these tight times.

About the Fishbowl Format

A Fishbowl Panel is a format that invites the audience to join the speakers onstage and participate in the discussion.

The stage will be in the center of the room with the audience radiating out from it. The speakers will be seated in a circle onstage along with one empty chair.

Take a seat onstage and join the speakers in the discussion. Each time an audience member joins one speaker will stand up and leave a seat for a new person to join.
