Art Implosion #3 – Organized by Factory Berlin’s Artists Circle
The Artists Circle presents its third edition of the monthly Rendez-Vous “Art Implosion”.
This month’s edition is going to be a highly creative extravaganza! Did you know we could made sculptures with mushrooms? Use art in video games to put yourself in the shoes of a political leader at the personal level? Make dancers and AI communicate to create a virtual hypnosis? Alexander Main, Ata Sergey Nowak, Dixon and the Creative Code will show you that Art is far away from being what you thought. This will totally blow your mind!
The community of FactoryBerlin is full of hidden art-gems and it is the Artists Circle’s mission to bring you every month 3 artists that will change the way you see Art.
The Artists Circle acts as a community-based laboratory for multi-disciplinary art projects empowered by innovation and technology.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Alexander Main will be presenting his experiments with mushroom (and its root structure called “mycelium”), to create, and quite literally grow living art sculptures. Mycelium is a naturally occurring polymer, which is beginning to be used as a sustainable alternative material for packaging, construction and even fashion (we’re just scratching the surface). Come for an insightful and fun(gi) exhibit!
We will showcase the newly released project the Berlin-based house and techno DJ, Dixon and his team of creatives. “Transmoderna” fractures the idea of transforming clubbing into an immersive system by merging music, contemporary art, technology and fashion. In this session, the production team will introduce how Dixon’s initiative correlates with Factory Berlin’s The Creative Code ethos.
Ata Sergey Nowak is a video game developer who is passionate about history, space and intercultural communication. Even though he studied language interpretation and translation, he decided to enter the games industry due to the unique interactive nature of the medium where software meets art. His current focus is developing Suzerain; a political story game. Drop by the event and navigate a political drama story driven by conversations with your cabinet members and other significant figures in a country with its own complicated history. Beware or embrace corruption; shirk or uphold ideals.
