The world is at a seminal point where exciting advances are being made by the application of AI to real world problems. This new era has paved the way for a new kind of startup. Building a startup which incorporates machine learning and AI presents new opportunities and challenges to founders. During this interactive discussion workshop, hosted in partnership with the Google Cloud team, you will consider how to:

  • Approach technical hiring and company culture in this new era of decentralised organisations,
  • Put data at the heart of your company’s structure and raison d’etre,
  • Take machine learning from an assumption to a valid solution for your startup, drawing from specific use cases.

Come prepared to network with and learn from fellow founders, and talk about how machine learning is shaping your startup.

This course is most suitable as an introduction to machine learning for startup founders, product managers, CTOS and developers who are interested in hearing about machine learning trends and observations in the startup ecosystem. While we’ll share high level overviews of use cases of Google Cloud APIs and how startups are deploying them, this session is not for you if you’re looking for something beyond an introduction to machine learning eg. how to implement a Tensorflow model.
