Factory Women is a group within the Factory community working to promote the personal and career development of female Factory members in the male-dominated startup landscape.
In this month’s Factory Women’s meeting, we will spend the first half spotlighting and getting to know one of our members (Johanna Eckart) and the second half in a group discussion on a chosen topic (talking to investors).
During the member spotlight, our selected member will be given the opportunity to present her business, a current challenge she is facing, or anything she wishes to share with the group. The intent is to get to know one another and find ways to connect and grow as a community. This week’s member spotlight will be with Johanna Eckart, who will be discussing her new YouTube channel on female entrepreneurship aiming to give female founders inspirational hands-on advice.
The second portion of the meeting will be a group discussion on talking to investors, where members can share their experiences and best practices.
6:15 – 7:00 pm: Member Spotlight – Johanna Eckart
7:00 – 7:30 pm: Topic Discussion – Talking to Investors
