About Mike Curtis:
Mike is the VP of Engineering at Airbnb, he is responsible for delivering simple, elegant ways to match people with the most interesting places in the world. Mike is building a team of engineers and data scientists that have a big impact as Airbnb continues to build the bridge between the online and offline worlds. In addition to engineering, Mike leads cross-functional teams dedicated to bolstering Airbnb’s growth while building trust between millions of hosts and guests around the globe. Prior to joining Airbnb, Mike served as a Director of Engineering at Facebook focused on user growth and engagement. Previously he was at Yahoo where he led the engineering team for Yahoo Mail.

About Ramzi Rizk:
Ramzi Rizk is founder and CTO of EyeEm. He leads a team developing EyeEm Vision, the company’s image recognition technology that keywords, captions and ranks photos based on their aesthetic value. Before founding EyeEm, Ramzi spent years researching privacy in Social Media, and leading engineering teams focused on mobile and web. Ramzi is a passionate software architect, photographer, and pianist. He loves product, scalable architecture, and the magical space where product, engineering, and business intersect.
