About Florian Meissner
Florian Meissner founded EyeEm in 2011 as a small group of photographers that has grown into a global community of over 20 million today. As the CEO of the company, he’s been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and Forbes among others and is an avid speaker on technology, entrepreneurship and the future of the photography industry. Flo studied business in Berlin, London and Vienna.
About Ramzi Rizk
Ramzi Rizk is co-founder and CTO of EyeEm. He leads a team developing EyeEm Vision, the company’s image recognition technology that keywords, captions and ranks photos based on their aesthetic value. Before founding EyeEm, Ramzi spent years researching privacy in Social Media, and leading engineering teams focused on mobile and web. Ramzi is a passionate software architect, photographer and pianist. He loves product, scalable architecture, and the magical space where product, engineering and business meet.
About Lorenz Aschoff
Lorenz Aschoff is co-founder and CPO of EyeEm. He leads a team focused on product, design and digital innovation. Prior to EyeEm, Lorenz launched a search engine that helps build schools in Africa. He received a MSc from Copenhagen Business School and a BSc in International Business from Maastricht University. He spends his free time DJ’ing his way around Berlin.
About Gen Sadakane
Gen Sadakane is co-founder and CCO of EyeEm. He is the Eye of EyeEm, leading all things design and creative. He’s worked as a Designer and Creative Director at TBWA, McCann, Jung von Matt, DDB and Leo Burnett, and won more than 100 international awards, including Cannes Gold for Volkswagen and Bosch, among others.
