The Berlin Startup Talks are an established format organised by Frank Hildebrandt for the alumni’s of Oxford and other business schools from Germany.
Now they are coming to the Factory. With the series of events of the Berlin Startup Talks @ Factory Frank Hildebrandt and Chris Heyer wants to give everyone the chance to learn from entrepreneurs, investors and corporates. At every event a top notch person from the European startup ecosystem will join Frank and Chris for a session. Both will also give young entrepreneurs the chance to get a basic understanding of key issues for entrepreneurs in the German legal and tax system.
The first event will be with Robin Eric Haak and the topic: Founding a startup – How to secure the interests of the founder?

About Robin Eric Haak
Robin recently joined Smartrecruiters as Managing Director following the companies acquisition of Jobspotting in January of 2017, a company that Robin co-founded. Hailing from Hannover, Germany, he is an investor for Haak&Compagnie with several seed investments. Prior to joining Jobspotting, Robin co-founded the Berlin-based Axel Springer Plug and Play Accelerator and invested in +40 international companies. He managed investments from the follow-up fund, the portfolio and operations of the accelerator. He worked in M&A in the Marketing & Classifieds Division and also in Digital Ventures at Axel Springer SE, Europe’s leading digital publisher.
About Frank Hildebrandt
Frank is the Managing Partner of HILDEBRANDT Rechtsanwaelte Steuerberatung. Frank studied Economics at Oxford and is a qualified lawyer in Germany. Before he was International Partner of the global law firm Dentons and worked as management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey and in investment banking for Morgan Stanley.
About Chris Heyer
Chis is an innovation consultant where he supports ‘Mittelstand’ companies, innovations labs and corporations in digitalisation challenges and opportunities. He is a leading expert in identifying, validating and executing new products and ventures.
Aside from building three startups, he has several years of experience supporting startups in the early phases using his large network of senior experts internationally.He also used to work for companies like E&Y, Ebner Stolz or crossconsulting.
