About this event

This sixth edition of our signature event “Art Implosion” will take you to futuristic and whimsical lands where saturated colours merge with infinity. From the wild sexual fantasies universes of Alakina Mann, the metallic and ethereal sounds of Eric Maltz representing a desert strangely full of data, and the imaginary spaceship of Aurora Mititelu making us travel in a purple landscape

Get ready for an interstellar journey.

The Artists Circle is the artist’s innovation pool from Factory Berlin: we produce art innovation in the Factory Berlin, we nourish artistic cross-fertilisation amongst members and we reflect the community by celebrating art hybridism.

About the Artists

Alakina Mann’s art work focuses on the mind-body connection, memory and experience. This is presented both figuratively and implicitly, attempting to convey that felt sense which is beyond language. Fragments of body, thought and feeling come together to make a new whole and dramatically depict the light and dark of humanity, medical anatomy, and recent training in Psychosexual Somatics Coaching.

A producer, composer, and sound designer with a talent for cross-disciplinary collaboration, Eric Maltz hears the connections between seemingly disparate elements and unites them through sound. He will be presenting The Sky Commodified, a documentary filmed at various observatories in the Atacama desert, whose field recording based sound track Eric produced, mixed and co-scored.

Visual artist and art director, Aurora Mititelu’s work is mainly focused on digital environments and new media installations. Fascinated by the complexity of computer generated imagery, she aims to understand the way we perceive and interact with digital spaces.
