About Martin Pluschke
With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry in various positions, Martin is familiar with all areas of the insurance industry, including field sales and direct insurance. Before he was in charge of the digitization strategy of NÜRNBERGER, Martin established the Independent Research & Development activities of ERGO with Axel Springer Plug & Play in Berlin and Startupbootcamp in London. Therefore he is also familiar with InsureTech Eco-System. NÜRNBERGER is an independent insurance and financial services company, concentrating on the German-speaking market and cooperating with European partners. With gross premiums written of some EUR 3.3 billion in the financial year 2016, NÜRNBERGER ranks as one of the major German primary insurance companies.
About Marcus Nasarek
Marcus Nasarek is PayPal’s Director for Global Core Payments EU. In that role, he is responsible for the payments in and out of the wallet, the implementation of regulatory requirements and the payment strategy in the DACH markets. Before Marcus joined PayPal, he represented the German banks in his role as Division Manager for Digital Payments at the Association of German Banks in various European stakeholder forums and payment scheme standardization initiatives. In this regard, he used to work with several regulatory working groups at the European Commission, the European Central Bank and policy makers but also standardization groups on the European and the global level. He started his carrier as a Security Analyst, amongst other roles working as Security Manager at Deutsche Postbank.
About Maximilian Tayenthal
Maximilian, born in Vienna, studied Business Administration, International Management and Law in Vienna, Rotterdam and Paris. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Before founding N26, he worked as a strategy consultant with Booz & Company, as assistant to the CFO in an Austria’s largest insurance company, and gained experiences in Corporate/M&A in a law firm.
About Armin Bieser
Armin studied Media Technology at Hochschule der Medien, Stuttgart (Stuttgart Media University).Afterwards, he worked for the Bertelsmann AG as a Studio Manager and was also a Freelance Production Manager for German Television ZDF for 10 years in the departments of Politics, Economics, News and Sports. Following this, he founded several successful Businesses in the Digital Economy with locations in Germany, China and the USA.
