About the Speakers:
Growth strategist Farina is the current Co-founder of Selfapy, an online therapy platform for mental health disorders. Previously, she was part of Groupon Australia’s founding team, general manager of Airtasker (Sydney and New York) and co-founder of the largest co-working space in Sydney TSL (hosting more than 80 startups). Subsequently, she was Head of Business at two companies of Hitfox Group. Coaching founders, she is also a mentor for the UNSW (University of New South Wales) startup program. She holds a Master of Arts in International Business and has recently been awarded as Top 30 under 30 from Forbes magazine.
Ekkehard takes high performers from craft to mastery. Based on his triple experience in Tech (CTO, Telecommunications engineer), Entrepreneurship (exited startup, Co-founder of ZFF and why.work, formal Startup advisor) and Communication (10 years in the entertainment industry, hands-on) he consults Companies and Startups in their strategic development and skills building. Together with his colleagues at why.work, he assists those enterprises in integrating Strategy, Life-long learning, and Future of work to excel at ongoing innovation, operations, and talent development.
Bryony is a Partner, Member of the Board and Chief Acceleration Officer at Arkley Brinc VC. By the time she was 30, Bryony had launched and lead 3 tech companies. Over the last decade, she has transitioned from startup founder to accelerator to investor. She ran Brinc’s IoT Accelerator for the MENA region, mentored teams in their Hong Kong program and served on the Investment Committee to evaluate global applications. Bryony is a Market and Communications expert and has extensive experience mentoring early-stage startups. Previously she was CEO & Co-Founder of IXDS Labs, CEO, and co-founder of T Dispatch and served as interim Managing Director for Fritzing and HINT.
About the Host:
Alexandra serves as Chief Learning Officer of EDU, Europe’s first digital native academic intuition, where rethinks medical education, how technology can open access to quality education worldwide and how didactic innovation can empower novel ways of serving learners. Previously, she was active in the 3D-printing and luxury fashion industry, where she co-founded and exited a curated jewellery platform focused on the CEE market. Committed to human development, Alexandra actively supports education startups, as well as European workforce development initiatives.
