Leading the Way to a Smart City, Berlin – DataCity Demo Day

How will a Smart City Berlin look like in the future? Will we see driverless cars, apply for a passport through a blockchain-protocol and have our food delivered to our doorstep by drones?

To take advantage of the digital transformation in shaping the development of cities, NUMA launched its DataCity program at the intersection of the startup-ecosystem, established corporates and the public sector.

Join us and our DataCity partners on January 29th to discover and learn about Smart City challenges that have been addressed in the 2018 edition of the DataCity program and discuss the road ahead to a Smart City Berlin.

Everyone interested in how technology shapes urban development is invited to this event: startups, corporates, public officials, citizens and everyone else who wants to make cities more sustainable and liveable.

Speakers:

*** Darius Moeini (Co-Founder and MD NUMA Berlin) & Maximilian Thess (Program Manager NUMA DataCity) – Welcome & Introduction to Smart City Innovation

*** Mercedes Benz & proximi.io – Pattern Detection in Tourist Flows

*** ALBA & Vialytics – Turning Recycling Trucks into Smart Sensor Platforms
