Living By Design, Not By Default – Organised by the Factory Berlin Women’s Circle

A new year often starts with new goals and reflections on what has happened in your life so far.

We often set up ambitious goals for a “new me” that easily gets lost throughout the year. Maybe you already made some very ambitious new year’s resolutions or maybe you didn’t want to make any at all. With the first women’s circle brunch of 2019 we want to take a moment to review what it is we actually want to accomplish and how we can make goals that we stick to?

We’ll be joined by a variety of speakers with expertise on mindfulness, goal-setting, and the psychology behind setting goals. They will discuss how we can make conscious decisions and do what is essential for us as individuals in order to take ownership of our own lives and time. A concept from the book ‘Essentialism’, we will unpack this idea and find a way to integrate it into all corners of our daily existence.

Agenda:

10:00 – 10:10am: Welcome by Helleke Heikkinen (moderator) and Factory Berlin

10:10 – 10:30am: How does conscious awareness give you the insights on what you actually want to accomplish in 2019? with Cari Merriam
