Workout for Happiness will be hosting regular meditation sessions at Factory Mitte. The first session will take place January 24th, between 12:00-12:30 pm. The session will include a welcome chat, meditation & questions.
All members are invited to drop in as often as they wish and are highly encouraged to join on a regular basis to give their brains a refreshing mid-day boost! No previous meditation experience is required.
In these sessions, we train our minds much like we train our muscles at the gym, yielding great results if practiced regularly. Meditation preserves an aging brain, develops awareness, increases focus and concentration and leads to positive changes in key areas of the brain. In other words, meditation makes you more effective at work and happier, in general.
Workout for Happiness is a holistic 3 and 6-month program where people work on themselves daily across the physical, mental and social levels to increase their happiness and well-being by way of scientifically proven methods because happiness is a lot of small things done well, day-by-day.
Co-Founders Adam Schuster and Amelia Strzepek created Workout for Happiness during their personal search for true happiness. They studied philosophy and cultural studies and later discovered the world of insight meditation. The more they looked, the more they understood, it’s in the little things.
