After a successful first session we are looking forward to our second one! Get ready to solve problems, network, have fun, boost your creativity, and have the best lunch time of the week.
Content: The host gives a couple of more or less funny impromptu speech tasks. Example: “You are the Berlin commissioner for economy and are talking in front of the city council. Argue pro marihuana and psychedelics to improve the venture climate in Berlin.” Background: Improv puts your creativity on steroids. Good as a start.
Content: Let’s solve our most nagging problems, together. Everyone can briefly state a business related problem in front of the group. The group then openly brainstorms solutions. Everyone can bring up problems. Example: “I have a huge problem attracting and keeping talent in our venture. I only have very limited time and monetary resources. Ideas?”Background: After waking up our brains to the max with the impromptu speeches we are ready to brainstorm the heck out of every problem imaginable. The diversity of the participants lead to new, unthought of solutions in a VERY short time.
Content: Let’s share our best and most valuable lessons. Everyone is free to prepare a short speech/pitch on any topic that has relevance to most of the participants. Background: Everyone of us has an abundance of great insights and knowledge that would benefit a large amount of other members. Let’s share the nitty-gritty of that knowledge in short, actionable pitches. At the end of every session we recommend chatting up other members to find accountability partners to get important sh*t (you have been putting off forever) done until the next Nitty-Gritty event.
We will boost our creativity, problem solving capabilities, and presentation skills. All this while gaining extremely valuable insights into specific, diverse topics through step by step, actionable business and life hacks. An aded bonus: everyone can get access to accountability partners. And all this in under 45 minutes. Almost too good to be true. So just right for Factory.
Factory Member Jens Grudno is hosting the event. If you would love to host a future event or have any recommendations or thoughts, chat him up on Slack (@jens).
