This will be the first talk of a core member of Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff in Europe. Jenna will talk about the latest tools, technologies and social media in digital campaigning as well as her learnings and experiences from the 2016 U.S presidential election. With a number of upcoming elections in Europe ahead next year, we want to discuss the influence of technology and social media on election campaigns. About Jenna Lowenstein
Jenna Lowenstein was the Digital Director at “Hillary for America”. She was leading the digital campaign team that was using technology, design, video, content and email to help elect the first female president of the United States.
Prior to joining the campaign, Jenna served as VP of Digital at EMILY’s List, Deputy Digital Director for the Democratic National Committee, and Deputy Digital Director for Terry McAuliffe’s campaign for governor of Virginia. Furthermore, she helped the social good start-up Change.org to grow a community of more than fifty million people worldwide who want to see change — and then connect them with the tools they need to make that change happen. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Government.
Meet the moderator
Jochen König is co-founder of Cosmonauts & Kings, a Berlin based start-up for data-driven political communication and campaigning. The 2016 founded company puts data into communicative action to bring scalable and measurable change for campaigns.
Previously, Jochen invested in start-ups for DCM, worked for Ringier in Sub-Saharan Africa, led online mobilization campaigns in 2009 and was part of schülerVZ in 2007.
