BVG Social Media Manager, Thilo Stracke, gives a Masterclass in how to create a bold and entertaining social presence.

BVG has built a reputation for memorable marketing campaigns and a tonality loved by all Berliners and envied by many brands. Social Media Manager, Thilo Stracke, joins our next Masterclass to talk about how by taking ownership of their flaws, BVG forged a path through the minefield of customer complaints on social media to create the brand that exists today.
There are no topics off limits as Thilo promises to give honest feedback and advice to founders, entrepreneurs and freelancers on how to tackle social media, and spills the beans on the highs and lows of his team’s bold approach that at times can backfire…

About The Speaker
After ten years freelancing in front, around and behind the camera, Thilo put aside his production role and made a move to study Communication in Social and Economic Contexts at Berlin University of the Arts.
Developing a deep interest in media sociology, storytelling and the dynamics of shitstorms, he started working at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe / BVG as Social Media Manager in 2017. Entering the paradox world of public transport, politics and the massively changing market of mobility in the context of social media and society, Thilo‘s job is to adjust a complex reality inside the company behind the awarded campaigns.
