digitalHUB Aachen is a coalition of businesses, scientists, and politicians within the Aachen area, who are transforming the region and escalating its growth within the digital sphere. Their goal: Digitalising the economy and public sector of Aachen through connecting startups with small and medium-sized businesses. Last week, the company opened its doors to their first coworking space in Aachen, located inside a former church. The space is the first of its kind in Germany, located in a city surrounded by fresh talent, universities and innovative businesses. For this reason, we are proud to announce an exclusive regional partnership and welcome digitalHUB Aachen into the Factory Family.
The space was inaugurated with an exclusive members event, attended by a large crowd of entrepreneurs and startuppers from all over Germany. The Digital Church will house Aachen’s growing community of innovators and changemakers within its modern, flexible working spaces. The CEO of digitalHUB, Dr. Oliver Grün, introduces the new venue as a place which will birth new business models and inspire creativity within its digitally enthusiastic elite.
Tremendous working environment aside, the Hub will also supply members with support throughout their journeys with access to advice, coaching, and events. As Prof. Dr. Malte explains, the new infrastructure not only opens up opportunities for Aachen startups but reinforces the city as a digital startup center.
Factory Founder & CEO, Udo Schloemer welcomes digitalHUB Aachen into the Factory Family as “a nationwide technology hub aiding the digital transformation of medium-sized companies.” In order to celebrate the new partnership, all Hub members will be given the opportunity to have their Factory applications fast-tracked. Factory and digitalHUB Aachen will also aim to bring the two communities together through hosting a series of future events.
