Tel Aviv is not only well known for its impressive startup scene, but also for its leadership in technology, data and cloud solutions. That is why in December 2016 we were happy to welcome a selected group of entrepreneurs, VCs and IoT experts from Tel Aviv to Berlin. Together with 20 Israeli startups, we explored hot trends and new technologies, and laid the foundation for new collaborations between German market leaders and Israeli startups.
ALL EYES ON IOT
At Tel Aviv Week we were eager to connect two highly relevant topics: IoT and Tel Aviv as a center for innovation. The core of our one week program consisted of two Startup Stages and a Conference Day, framed by numerous great satellite events – all revolving around smart technologies.
ONE WEEK, MASSIVE OPPORTUNITIES
The 5-day program reflected the interests of both old and new economy, bringing together startups, established enterprises and medium-sized businesses at one place with one goal in mind: to drive innovation.
While the Conference Day was all about exploring and learning from the Israeli and Berlin IoT sector and its best practices, the Startup Stages focused on practical business cases and matchmaking exclusively for a group of select corporate partners. These provided our partners and VC guests with the opportunity of identifying concrete possibilities for investment, collaboration and exchange directly with the founders in 1-on-1 sessions.
