At Factory, our mission is to bring together the brightest minds in Berlin, and globally. The benefit is that a network is created in which companies across all levels can prosper and learn from one another. Today we are happy to announce that this network is growing, and we are incredibly pleased to welcome our new partner Deutsche Telekom AG to the family.
As a global player, Deutsche Telekom is the largest telecommunications company in Europe and, is of course well known as the ‘Magenta Giant.’ They will be joining us as a corporation that puts the digital transformation of its customers on the top of their priority list, as this motive is engraved within their corporate strategy.
Telekom will gain access to our expansive network of startups, developers, freelancers and innovators alike as members of their community will become members of our community. As Miriam Mertens, Vice President of Startup Cooperation at Deutsche Telekom explained “The cooperation between Factory and ourselves will give us access to the startups within Factory’s community. Thus, allowing us to build an active network and to inspire members with our tailor-made startup solutions, and most importantly our TechBoost program. The program enables selected startups to receive a €100,000 voucher for our cloud services with Open Telekom Cloud, and discounts on our fixed-line, mobile, and internet. For Factory, we will not only share access to our technology platforms and solutions but will also make our “Factory” portfolio available to our customers.”
“We are looking forward to actively working together with Factory, identifying our joint potential, and taking advantage of digitalization and the opportunities it brings in successfully pushing companies to the forefront.”
Startups at Factory will have the chance to benefit from TechBoost and be a part of a program that will put them on the map within a digital future. Deutsche Telekom currently has 50 participants within the program, and look forward to this number growing here in the heart of Factory. Telekom business customers will be invited to join us at our current events and formats, and we hope to also create new customer-specific formats together. Digitalization and collaboration are most certainly the foundation of this partnership.
When discussing the new partnership, VP of Startup Cooperation at Deutsche Telekom, Miriam Mertens, stated; “We are looking forward to actively working together with Factory, identifying our joint potential, and taking advantage of digitalization and the opportunities it brings in successfully pushing companies to the forefront.”
