Through interactive demonstrations, you will gain the skills to:

  • Understand the capabilities and limitations of Google Analytics
  • Understand Google Analytics’ core reporting functionality, including segmentation Identify the main reports that will add value to your business
  • Understand the traffic to your site and how to track your campaigns using UTM tagging
  • Report on success using Goals & Ecommerce reporting
  • Create a Custom Report

Using segments - How do you construct a segment and what types of segments can be built? What kinds of insights can I get by applying segments to the different standard reports?

Introduction to reporting - How can we utilise the standard reporting interface? What filters and breakdowns can I apply to a report? How do I understand my audience?
