Banking, healthcare, shopping…how will services evolve now that they can be spoken to? In this workshop, participants will learn about the basics of designing services for voice-activated, cloud-based smart home speakers and understand how they can benefit both users and businesses. During the hands-on Design Thinking exercise, participants will get to envision and prototype a voice-assisted service for the industry of their choice.

Hosts

Mathilde Dongala is a Berlin-based service designer passionate about future interfaces. She is currently graduating in Digital Experience Design at Hyper Island (UK), and completing her master’s thesis on designing services with smart voice assistants.

Andrzej Karel is the founder of TAK Innovation Agency, as well as runs www.tak.audio, a blog focusing on smart audio and hearables. He has organized or participated in Design Thinking projects and workshops with organizations such as Deutsche Telekom, Nike, Danfoss, Klöckner & Co, ŠKODA Polska, Genovasi (Malaysia) and UCANDO/Hella.
