Marketing for Startups – Building Social Media Presence
Early stage startups operating by the hands of their founders sometimes lack marketing expertise. As the name and visual identity for the new business is defined, the usual practice would be to create social profiles. Right? But… what to do with them? How do they support the marketing and business strategy?
In this seminar organized by the Iconosquare CMO Manuela (Manu) Faveri, you will be guided through the creation of a social media plan and be given some tips on how to measure and improve your results.
Manuela (Manu) Faveri is a seasoned 360° marketer. Originally coming from an ad agency background, her marketing strategy experience – with awarded campaigns for Sony and Unilever – landed on startups when she moved to Berlin in 2014. She is the CMO @ Iconosquare and also invests her creative energy on advising and mentoring early-stage startups (Prolendo / Startup Campus Berlin).
With offices in France and Germany– and over 30 employees– Iconosquare delivers the most advanced Instagram analytics to over 25,000 businesses, agencies, and influencers. Iconosquare was started in Limoges, France in 2011 as a way to easily gather statistics about the performance of Instagram accounts. The first version, Statigram, was released one week after the initial idea was discussed and was a one-page service of approx. 10 Instagram statistics.
In 2016 the platform – now called Iconosquare – really took off, becoming an official Instagram partner and shutting down the public version of the platform following updates to Instagram’s Ts and Cs. 2018 has seen lots of changes with a growing team, so the company has moved to larger offices in both Berlin and Limoges. Continuing the focus on giving back to the Limoges ecosystem, the new HQ in Limoges also includes a co-working space for up and coming startups.
