Working at a startup can be… stressful.
How can you boost your communication skills to better navigate stressful situations? How can you effectively communicate with someone when they are under immense pressure and stress, or when you are?
Often when it’s most important for us to communicate well with one another, that’s when we fail to engage in a constructive manner – and we minimize communication…
we don’t talk,
we don’t ask,
we assume …………….and in the end we are disappointed.
How can we learn to communicate, even though we might think we have no time to?
The Workshop – Part I
Caroline will show you how to overcome blockages and how to engage in effective, inspiring, and valuable dialog inspite of stress. This training is about facing and analyzing your preferred communication style – helping you to see your own vulerabilities and shortcomings, while simultaneously understanding what communication style your counterpart needs in order to find common ground.
You will get to know the foundation of any successful interaction, learn to identify four different communication profiles and their indicators, and you will receive tools and intervention methods you can adapt to any situation.
For communication within a team to improve, it is helpful for several team members to attend!
For live practice and a deep dive building on Part I, sign up for the optional Part II! There you will simulate stressful situations and analyze them together. It will be an interactive session with many hand-on exercises.
