About the Speaker

Valentin Keil has worked for nearly a decade in strategic marketing communications, advertising and media production. He has helped execute and consulted on marketing campaigns with clients across an international network – working with brands from Australia – to Europe – all the way to Canada (and back around). His 15-year music production background built the foundation for his drive to create high-quality, strategy-based audio branding and sound design campaigns.


About the company

WESOUND was founded in 2011 as agency for acoustic brand development and is today being managed by Carl -Frank Westermann and Dr. Cornelius Ringe. With offices in Berlin and Hamburg, WESOUND advises, develops and designs brands, among them BAYER, Audi, SEAT, Manner, real, – and Covestro, by synchronizing their acoustic representation with the company’s respective strategic objectives and sharpening the brand conce ption as a whole. More recent references include their work for brands, such as Verivox, DLD Conference and the Reeperbahn Festival. Apart from classic sound branding projects, there is a further focus on functional sounds and in -store atmospheres, created for Lufthansa, Porsche Design, Wirecard / boon and DEW21. WESOUND consists of a transdisciplinary team of experts with professional competency in Auditive Brand Strategy, Sound Design, Communication and Product Design, Scenography and Musicology.
